“Language Dynamics and Management of Diversity"

2nd Call for papers - conference Language, Migration and Labour

The fourth AILA Language and Migration Research Network Seminar (28-29 January 2010) focuses on the relationship between language, migration flows and labour processes. The major concern is to explore the complex relationship between the economic and cultural capital of migrants and its use or exploitation by power institutions in a globalized labour market.
If you are interested, please submit by e-mail a 300-word abstract of your paper or poster proposal. Include your name, affiliation, address, phone and e-mail at the end of your abstract. All abstracts will be reviewed anonymously. Oral papers will be allotted 30 minutes, allowing 20 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for questions. An extra poster session will be organized.
