Discourse Approaches to Politics, Society and Culture includes studies that investigate political, social and cultural processes from a linguistic/discourse-analytic point of view. Th e series includes monographs and edited volumes which combine language-based approaches with disciplines concerned with human interaction — disciplines such as political science, international relations, social psychology, social anthropology, sociology, economics, and race and gender studies. Third International Conference on “Bi- and Multilingual Universities”

The trilingual Free University of Bozen-Bolzano will host the third International Conference on “Bi- and Multilingual Universities” on 20-22 September 2007, with the goal of bringing together scholars, instructors, university leaders and administrative personnel working in bi- and multilingual universities, so as to provide them with a terrain for scientific and didactic discussion, comparison of practices, approaches and results and networking opportunities.

The second conference of the consortium is scheduled for 21 and 22 May 2007 in Basel.
