Areas of Expertise
• Thirty years of experience in the fields of applied linguistics and neurolinguistic research in topics ranging from foreign language and mother tongue teaching and language in schizophrenic people to language and the brain and multilingual education. The VUB team works on the implementation of multilingual education in Belgium.
• Extensive experience in leading and co-leading European work groups on language policies and multilingual education.
